Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2020, the Global Self-Care Federation (GSCF) aimed to review and develop its strategy to enhance trust in self-care around the world.
In the first study of its kind, Echo provided GSCF with the insight, evidence and action plan to build trust in self-care.
Echo’s solution was to provide an integrated view of the DNA of trust in self-care, key areas of interest and concern, main players and drivers of consumer behaviour to support strategy.
The research programme, conducted globally, included four different elements: stakeholder/influencer mapping, social media listening, consumer surveys and stakeholder interviews.
Echo created a white paper ‘Understanding trust in self-care’ on the key findings action plan based on our recommendations to GSCF and further supported GSCF with their stakeholder engagement.
The study won the top AMEC Platinum award for 'Best use of integrated communication research' and 'Most impactful client recommendations'.
