Professor Ian Ryder is the Former Master of the Worshipful Company of Marketors with 30+ years’ international experience, including roles as Director of Global Brand Strategy for Hewlett-Packard (HP Invent) in California, and non-executive adviser to the British Olympic Association, shaping TeamGB’s strategy. Ian also worked at top level for the UK Atomic Energy Authority, Unisys and as Deputy Group CEO of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT .
International speaker, author, visiting professor and lecturer (Cranfield, MBS, Reading, Stockholm School of Economics, University of Birmingham in Dubai, Thunderbird Arizona and Management Institut de Paris), Ian was also a Global Subject Specialist for Harvard Business School and External Examiner for Masters degrees in Strategic Marketing; Management and Management Leadership. Ian has worked extensively with government and education, in the USA, the UK as well as the UAE.
Recently appointed to the board of Dedicated Computing LLC, a McNally Capital portfolio Company , Ian is a founding director of The Medinge Group, a global brand think-tank, and co-author of books like Beyond Branding.
