A leading authority on higher education reputation development, Mark further strengthens Echo's 30-year track record of delivering research-led guidance to the world's most renowned universities.

Mark has more than 20 years’ experience working with the best universities around the world to help them build their reputations, having led a global professional network. He was Director of Communications and Marketing at University College London for nearly a decade, helping to establish UCL as one of the leading higher education brands, rising to be the 4th ranked university in the world. He established bi-annual Stakeholder Perceptions Audits and helped UCL grow to be the UK's leading recruiter of international students.

Mark has also held the position of Head of Public Affairs at The Football Association, governing body of soccer in England, where he led campaigns to tackle racism and promote women's football. At the UK Department of Health, he led the communications for the national consultation on public health, which led to the ban on smoking in public places. He also delivered policy consultations with 10 Downing Street whilst at the UK Cabinet Office. Mark is also an associate of reputation strategy consultants, Higher Reputation.
