Echo is delighted to support the international accounting, tax, audit, advisory and business services group, Azets, in their first inaugural SME Barometer.
After a year of disruption and upheaval, the Azets SME Barometer looks at the current and future business climate from the perspective of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Nordics and the UK. It sets out to establish business confidence, opportunities, threats and priorities for SMEs, while also identifying issues SMEs face such as Brexit, recruitment and financing.
The findings from our research with over 700 SME business leaders reveals that there is promising optimism for economic recovery and business growth, with 68% of SMEs thinking that the economic climate will improve in the next 12 months. However, there is still work to be done as challenges remain. The study provides insights to where SMEs could benefit from further government policies and expert guidance.
