Echo Research has grown its Advisory Board with an exciting new addition. We extend a warm welcome to gifted strategist and storyteller, Dr Aerial Ellis.
Emerging as one of the brightest in the industry, Dr Ellis is the managing principal of Advisory 83, a consultancy aimed at strategic planning, training and coaching in the spaces of diversity, inclusion and equity. In this space, she focuses on culturally competent coaching for underrepresented leaders and people of colour.

We are building our Advisory Board to work alongside Echo’s specialist research teams to deliver pragmatic counsel based on their experience and our evidence-based insights to support leaders aiming for better.”
With a variety of board positions amongst academic institutes and Public Relations organisations, Dr Ellis has an impressive track record that has garnered her the titles of Nashville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, the Women of Influence “Trailblazer”, and Nashville’s Top 30 under 30. She is also the author of “The Original Millennial,” a book highlighting six defining lessons of leadership for millennials. Dr. Ellis currently serves as an endowed chair/distinguished professor at North Carolina Central University and as immediate past president of the PRSA Foundation. She is also a partner at My Village Votes, a market research firm that partners with advocacy, civic and non-profit organizations to improve consumer and civic engagement catered to the insights of communities of colour.
Echo is excited to promote an additional outlet for Dr Ellis’s academic expertise involving intercultural competencies of senior leaders at multinational corporations, paired with her global coaching and consultancy work which has taken her to Hong Kong, Finland, London, South Africa and Qatar.
