Echo proudly announces the appointment of Winnie De’Ath to its independent Client Advisory Board. With over 30 years of experience in transformative communication, brand stewardship, and public affairs, Winnie brings invaluable insights from her distinguished career as Communication and Brand Director for WWF-UK and WWF-International. Her legacy at WWF is marked by campaigns that not only shifted public perception but also drove legislative advancements, including the landmark UK Marine Act and the impactful Sky WWF Rainforest Rescue campaign.

Having led initiatives within WWF’s extensive network of over 100 countries, Winnie possesses a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities organisations face in today’s sustainability-focused landscape. Her role in shaping Earth Hour—a global movement encouraging action on climate change and biodiversity—demonstrates her commitment to building resilient brands that align with sustainable development goals. Beyond WWF, Winnie’s role as a Trustee and advisor to various charities and foundations has further refined her perspective on non-profit strategy and governance. Her grasp of digital communication trends and the implications of misinformation in the age of AI is invaluable for organisations committed to ethical, transparent, and effective communication.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the role, Winnie said, “Joining Echo’s Client Advisory Board is a fantastic opportunity. As organisations increasingly integrate sustainability into their strategies, I’m eager to help them leverage communication to drive meaningful change.”
